MANAGING FOR RESULTS is about Team Work. Selected exercises are used to explore the characteristics and behaviours of high performing individuals and teams and to address the specific needs of the group.

A new department leader in a multinational organisation was faced with a number of challenging situations, which included poor internal communication, unclear targets, inconsistent individual and team performance and disruptive personality clashes.

In this instance the ‘Managing for Results’ approach included one-to-one with the team members as well as whole team exercises. It was important that the managers within the department led the changes so they were supported through training and coaching. Learning sets were also set up. The follow-up evaluation showed improvements in working relationships, performance and problem solving.
