BUILD THE FUTURE Addresses team building issues such as interdependency, effective relationships, trust and respect, using both cognitive and practical skills in a highly interactive and creative approach.

Following a merger the IT department of two companies previously operating in different cultures, using similar processes but competing technologies needed to be brought together to cooperate under one purpose and aim.

The highly interactive and interdependent nature of Build the Future was ideal for getting the teams to work together. Success was dependent on the mixed teams using their collective skills to, think, plan and ‘build’ in order to achieve the objective. The exercise was tailored to address issues that were relevant to the group making it easier to reflect on the learning and its application to their situation.
